Alix's 30th Birthday!

Yesterday we went to Bridges in Danville to celebrate Alix's 30th birthday. It was very fun to get together with everyone to show Alix how loved she is. She is a wonderful friend who loves you for who you are, is extremely honest and open, and always goes out of her way to make everyone feel special. Happy Birthday Alix! Tracy, Alix, me, Kelly, and Melissa
Here's a picture of Alix's adorable baby, Ayla.

They're back...

I go back and forth as to whether I like bangs or not, but today (on a whim) I decided that it was time to test them out again. The jury is still out, but I think I enjoy them...I doubt they will look this way when I try to style them.
If you live in the Bay Area and need a GREAT hairdresser, my sister does amazing work. Call, email, or leave a comment on this post and I will give you her contact info.

Good News!

My super smart husband was the first to use our new plate. I am so proud of him! He set the bar very high, but all of his hard work, determination, brains, and passion truly paid off.
You did it!

Cooking Club Gift Exchange

Last night Tracy and Jolynn hosted our December Cooking Club. In true holiday spirit, we had a kitchen gadget white elephant gift exchange too. Here is the cute plate I got. I have seen this plate numerous times at the store and thought how cute it was, but never bought it. Lucy for me, I was able to steal it from Heather O'Brien (Sorry Heather; I just couldn't resist!).

Christmas Cards - Lazy Style

Well, we had the best of intentions to put together real Christmas cards this year (this would have been our first year). But as you can see by the title of the post, we just didn't get our act together.
Do us a favor, pretend that you are walking out to your mailbox, opening the mailbox, taking out a beautiful shiny red envelope addressed to your family, open the envelope, and enjoying our holiday card mad especially for you!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Love,

The LaSalas

Zachary's Pizza

If you have never been to Zachary's Pizza, get in your car and head there now! It is my favorite pizza spot. They have a delicious deep dish pizza that makes my mouth water just thinking about it. I love that they have the toppings "backwards." We have been to their restaurants in Berkeley and San Ramon (both are great), but I enjoy the atmosphere in Berkeley more.
