Redecorating

I'm in the middle of redecorating our bedroom. There is still a lot more to be done (mirror, wall art, etc), but it is coming together. I will post again when everything is done, but here is what it looks like for now.

Feelin' Hot! Hot! Hot!

It has been hot in Concord lately! I decided to take my niece, Alisa, and her friend, Alyssa, to the Antioch Water Park. It is a perfect place to bring kids. They had HUGE smiles on their faces the whole time. They went on the water slides more times than I could count, which obviously made them hungry. We had a yummy lunch in the back of my car, and then headed straight back in for more slides. Alisa kept on saying, this is the best place, when can we come back? I reminded her that we hadn't even left yet, but I can only imagine that we will return soon.

The Joys of Owning a Home

We have been living in our house for almost four years now and we absolutely love it! We were fortunate to not have to do too much to our house when we first moved in because the people who lived here before us had done a lot of remodeling. All along we have know that we will have to make minor repairs to our house when the time comes. Unfortunately, I think that it might be our time for some repairs/renovations.
On our flight back from Cabo, I was getting so excited to return to our adorable, little house. I could not wait to sleep in our bed, lay on the couch, cook our own meals, hangout by our pool, see our dog, etc. As soon as we walked in out front door, I heard a weird noise. I couldn't figure out what it was, so I started walking around our house to see where the noise was coming from. I soon realized that it was in the garage.
Once I opened the garage door, I quickly discovered that the noise was truly coming from there, but I was not sure why. I turned on the light and to my surprise, there was water covering the floor! YIKES! Our water heater was leaking...
Long story short, here is a picture of our new one.
Hopefully we will not be making to many unexpected repairs soon!

Cabo San Lucas

Hola! We just back from a relaxing week in Cabo San Lucas. We had a great time walking along the beach, reading books near the pool, shopping at the market, parasailing, drinking cervezas, and spending time together. Here are some pictures:

I would like to note that for some odd reason, we never ask others to take our picture when we are on vacation. We always have pictures that look like this. The pictures always look the same. We are always on the same side in pretty much the same position because Chad's left arm can reach the farthest away. One day we will be smart enough to have others take our picture.
