Love you, Buddy!
Dear Hudson,
A year ago mommy and daddy were
newly pregnant and thinking about what our life would be like with a baby. We were so excited to have you and become a
family. We could not wait for the day
that we could meet you, cuddle you, kiss you, play with you, and watch you
grow. Now you are here, already 4 months
old, and ours forever! You are more
special than we could have ever expected.
Every smile, giggle, kiss, and hug we get from you makes our hearts
grow.
Daddy went to India for work. While
he was gone we went to Gammie’s for a few days and had a blast, as always. We also stayed in Santa Rosa for a few days,
just the two of us. It was a lot of fun
having you all to myself, but we were both exhausted by the end of the day. You were so excited to have Daddy back when he got home.
This past month has brought on a
lot of changes for the three of us, and each of these hard or happy times have
only strengthened the bond between the three of us.
Some of the highlights of this past
month were:
*Meeting Kate and Pete from Cincinnati.
They were mommy and daddy’s great friends from Duke. While they were here we went to Muir Woods,
Sausalito, and did some wine tasting.
*Going on a walk with Auntie Judy
and Uncle John.
*Having a few playdates with Kennedy
and Kaden. You all wore one another
out! They even feel asleep, but you
wanted to stay up and hang out with the mommies!
*Going to dinner at your friend
Jadon’s house. You had a great time playing with your friends.
*Going on Howarth Park train. The whistle was WAY too loud for your ears
and you cried once they blew it.
*finding you FEET!
You found them on your four month birthday, and they have become your
favorite toy EVER!
*letting mommy play with your hair.
*drooling!!!
*practicing taking naps without
being swaddled. You didn't enjoy it too much, but you were able to do it a few times.
*practicing walking. You think it's just the coolest. You would "walk" all day everyday if you could!
*being adorable. It comes naturally to you.
*Watching the launry in the washer and dryer is quite possibly your most favorite activity.
We love you more than life itself,
Lovebug. You are such a sweet, mellow,
loving, fun boy. You fill our lives with
so much happiness. We love you to the
moon and back.
